Meet Duke! He is a Handmade Needle Felted little black and tan colored Dachshund! He measures right around 2 1/2 inches tall and promises to be quiet if you adopt him!!
If you're not familiar with needle felting... these little critters start off as a ball of wool roving or wool "fluff". Special barbed needles are used to poke the fiber hundreds of times, which in turn binds those fibers together... you then begin to use those needles to sculpt whatever critter you want!! This little doxie in particular is special to me because he is modeled after a little black and tan dachshund named Duke that I grew up with!!

Duke is 100% wool with glass bead eyes and a handmade clay nose. He is not suitable for small children, as he is a collectible... but he should be fine for older kids!
